Step 1: Preparing the control panel

1. Inserting a SIM card (optional, but recommended for 4G function): Before turning on, insert a Micro SIM card (4G support) into the slot on the back of the device. Attention: The PIN code on the SIM card must be disabled beforehand (do this on the phone).

2. Connecting to power: Connect the included power adapter to a power outlet and plug the cable into the control panel. Turn on the battery backup switch (usually located under a cover on the back).

Step 2: Connecting to Wi-Fi and the app

1. Download the Tuya Smart or Smart Life app to your smartphone (available on Google Play and App Store).

2. Turn on Bluetooth and Wi-Fi on your phone (you must be connected to a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network).

3. In the app, click “+” (Add device) and select “Security Sensors” -> “Alarm System (Wi-Fi)”.

4. Follow the instructions on your mobile phone screen to connect the control panel to your home network.

Step 3: Installing wireless sensors

1. Door/Window Sensor: Mount it on the edge of a door or window using the double-sided tape provided. The magnetic part and the sensor should be aligned and no more than 1 cm apart when the door is closed.

2. PIR motion sensor: Mount it on a wall or in a corner (ideal height is between 1,8m and 2,2m). Avoid pointing the sensor directly at a window or heat source (e.g. radiator).

3. The sensors are already paired with the control panel at the factory. To add new ones, select the “Add Sensor” option in the control panel menu and trigger the sensor (e.g. open a magnetic contact) so that the panel detects it.

• RFID Keyfobs for Quick Control: RFID keyfobs are ideal for children or elderly family members. There is no need to enter complicated codes to turn off the alarm - simply hold the keyfob against the marked spot on the LCD control panel.

• Delay setting: Set an exit and entry delay (e.g. 30 seconds). This will allow you to enter calmly when you arrive home and disarm the alarm on the keypad before the siren sounds.

• Operating schedule: In the app, you can set the system to automatically turn on (e.g. every evening at 23:00 PM in “Home” mode to protect the ground floor while you sleep upstairs) and automatically turn off at the morning alarm.

• Regular battery checks: Wireless sensors are battery-operated. Although the system/app will alert you when the sensor battery is low, we recommend that you replace the batteries in all sensors once a year as a preventative measure.

• For indoor use only: The control panel and standard sensors are not waterproof. Do not expose them to moisture, rain or extreme cold. Special outdoor sensors are required for outdoor use.

• SIM card protection: If you are using a SIM card with a prepaid plan, regularly check the balance on your card to keep an active 4G connection for emergency calls.
